In the land of pinks, one will be hard pressed to find a stock with history long enough for a 10-year chart, showing a high of nearly $12.00, and not due to a reverse split, but because market valued the company at that price on the basis of its technology. And that's one of the reasons why I included this chart. It was back in the days when ACT Teleconferencing was trading on NASDAQ, acquiring companies like Proximity for $500,000 in cash plush shares valued at $10 a piece, as you will see later in this document. Owing to various factors, including the bursting of tech bubble and lack of vision on the management's part, ACT Teleconferencing was first de-listed from NASDAQ in November 2005, and later filed for termination of registration in August of 2007. Three years, a new management team and a better business environment later, ACT Teleconferencing is doing really well. With close to 350 employees, offices in 9 countries and a stronger and re-invigorated team, ACT Teleconferencing is going places.
And this is precisely why the timing of filing "Articles of Incorporation" with the Colorado Secretary of State, 12/28/2010, is very interesting. It clearly means that ACT Teleconferencing is back, and we should soon be hearing from the company in this regard.
The best time to buy into a stock is when it is under-valued and under-discovered. In ACT Teleconferencing, we have something at our hands that is setup perfectly for a monstrous rally. ACT Teleconferencing is a very well established technology company and has been doing business for over two decades in many countries in the world. It was trading on NASDAQ as recently as last quarter of 2005 and was doing business with giants like AT&T. According to their last 10Q filed in 2007, during the first quarter of that year, ACT Teleconferencing had revenues of $11.7 Million, with total assets worth almost $22 Million.
